13 Mar, 2005 - The Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran has put into circulation a new version of the 20,000 Rials which has changed significantly. The portrait of Khomeini is smaller and more real than previous issue. The colour is the same but on the reverse side it is light blue.The building complex (Ali Qapoo and Imam Mosque) are brightened. The signatures are Hosseini and Sheibani. Compliments of Carlo Turco.
