Folgende Email bekam ich gerade von einem Dänen, da ich auf einer Liste von Weltmünzensammlern stehe. Er preist darin sein Buch an, das er geschrieben hat. Es handelt davon, wie man in 6-8 Wochen Münzen aus allen Ländern der Welt zusammen bekommt. Kommt Euch das bekannt vor?

Coins and Emails is the little book that I wrote after using 6 to 8 weeks collecting coins from all countries in the world.

To be able to get all countries in the world I had to get in contact with over 5000 people. The result is, this nice book. In the book you can read about the wedding proposals that I got, How I became a Godfather, the difference between writing to male and female E-mail users. The cultural difference between countries.

I had to write to 243 Americans to get a positive response and only to one person in Sudan.

The book also gives an inside in how one can bring a coin collection up to date.

But most important is the way people behave when asked to help via e-mail.


The book is printed in Denmark, using print on demand technique. The webside is homemade and a nightmare for webdesigners. The reason why I have kept it all simple is to safe on the cost, and make it cheaper for you to buy the book.

200 Länder in 6-8 Wochen halte ich für nicht realistisch, davon mal abgesehen, ist es erstrebenswert?

Kontaktadressen - sofern aktuell - wären allerdings Goldwert.

höre sich wirklich gut an , aber ich glaube nicht das er Kontaktadressen drinn hat, vorallem wie will er denn das gemacht haben???
und meint er nur die aktuellen Länder??

Hmmm, dann müßte er ja eine komplette Sammlung haben...

Also ich glaube ihm, dass er das in 8 Wochen geschafft hat. Aber wahrscheinlich nur eine Münze pro Land. An Kontaktadressen im Buch glaube ich allerdings auch nicht.

O.K 1 Münze je Land, braucht man ja nur wie'n blöder E-mails verschicken irgend einer wird schon eine Münze schicken und somit den "Spaß" mitmachen....

glaube nicht das es mit der Methode wie wir sie anwenden in 8 Wochen möglich ist nur einen kleinen Teil der Welt zu bearbeiten

wir picken uns ja auch nur die "Rosinen" raus...

Mag ja ganz interessant sein, eher aber wohl Kappes. Es gibt so viele tolle Ratgeber: Wie man in 6 Wochen 30 Kilo abnimmt, perfekt Spanisch spricht, mit dem Rauchen aufhört und dazu noch einen längeren Schniepel bekommt.

Ich für meinen Teil schaffe es nicht einmal annähernd, all die Bücher zu lesen, von denen ich ganz sicher weiß, daß sie gut sind. Da kann ich guten Gewissens schon mal die ausländisch geschriebenen beiseite lassen.

Geheimtips für alle sind sowieso Blödsinn. Der nette Sudanneger wird das Buch verfluchen, seit er die ganzen Nachmacher auf dem Hals hat.
