Eesti Pank is announcing a design competition for two collector coins

Eesti Pank has been issuing collector coins dedicated to the Olympic Games since 1992. In order to mark the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Eesti Pank is issuing a silver collector coin with a nominal value of 10 euros. The mandatory design elements include the grand national coat of arms of the Republic of Estonia, the text „Eesti Vabariik“ and the year 2014 on the obverse and the logo of the Estonian Olympic Committee plus the nominal value with the euro sign (10 €) on the reverse. The design is not allowed to display symbols that are under the protection of the International Olympic Committee and the Organising Committee for the Olympic Games in Sochi.
The deadline for submitting the designs arrives on 12 April 2013 at noon. Designs should be delivered or sent to Eesti Pank (address: Mündižürii, Eesti Pank, Estonia pst 13, 15095 Tallinn).
Participants in the design competition are allowed to submit more than one design per coin. Competition results will be announced by the panel convened by Eesti Pank on 8 May 2013 at the latest. After the coins are issued, the winners will be paid the prize money of €2,000.
