Announcement regarding Finnish euro coins in 2019
The Ministry of Finance has launched a public call for tenders for the supply of Finnish euro coins, including two euro commemorative coins. Regarding Finnish commemorative coins with other euro nominal values, the Ministry of Finance has published a preliminary information notice. The estimated date of the actual call for tender is 30.8.2019.
In Finland, the Ministry of Finance is the competent authority for the procurement of coins. The latest EU Procurement Directives have entered into force in Finland in 2017. Mint of Finland has manufactured all Finnish euro coins as ordered by the Ministry of Finance until the end of 2018. The supply contract between the Ministry of Finance and Mint of Finland expired on 31.12.2018.
Mint of Finland, as one of the few entirely market driven mints, is ready for the new era. The company is actively seeking new business opportunities both in domestic and international markets. Mint of Finland has already established its position as the leading exporter of circulation coins. Over 95% of the company's revenue comes from exports.

Mint of Finland hat alle finnischen Euromünzen im Auftrag des Finanzministeriums bis Ende 2018 hergestellt. Der Liefervertrag zwischen dem Finanzministerium und der finnischen Münzanstalt ist am 31.12.2018 ausgelaufen.
Mint of Finland, als eine der wenigen vollständig marktbestimmten Münzstätten, ist bereit für die neue Ära. Das Unternehmen sucht aktiv nach neuen Geschäftsmöglichkeiten sowohl auf dem nationalen als auch auf dem internationalen Markt. Nach meinen Informationen wird es aus obigem Grunde in nächster Zeit keine Gedenkmünzen aus Finnland geben.

Dear Customer,
The Ministry of Finance and Mint of Finland have signed an agreement on the production of a commemorative coin to mark the Finnish Constitution of 1919. This will be a gold coin with a nominal value of EUR 100 and is scheduled for release in July 2019.
The Collector Coin Committee appointed by the Ministry of Finance will organise a design competition for the Finnish Constitution 1919 commemorative coin. The design competition will be open to everyone living in Finland and Finnish citizens living abroad. In January 2019, the Ministry of Finance published a preliminary information notice regarding Finnish euro commemorative coins. Lies mal die Beiträge die vor Deinem stehen.
Ich habe schon ein Foto gesehen, dass wohl die geprägte Münze zeigt.
Nachdem mich die Münze interessiert hat und hier keine Auskunft zu erlangen war, bin ich am Wochenende auf der Briefmarkenmesse in Essen gewesen und habe mich mit einem Foto am Stand der Aland-Post nach der quadratischen Münze erkundigt. Dort war sie unbekannt und auf die Anfrage über die Internetseite kam heute diese Info:
"We have no information about these coins. They are not any officially issued coins from Finland and are not sold at Åland Post. I suspect they are not real coins. Our country name Åland is missing the dot above the a and the logo of the Åland Post is an old one."
Na, wenigstens habe ich am Stand von San Marino noch eine 5 Euro 5G für 5 Euro mitgenommen, obwohl ich sie in den Tagen zuvor bereits mit der Lieferung des S.M. 2ers erhalten hatte. Aber ein Souvenir musste schließlich, nach einem netten Gespräch mit den Damen am Stand, einfach sein.

The Constitution Act of Finland 1919 gold coin was well received among our customers, and it was sold out from Mint of Finland on 17 June, the first day of advance sales. Deliveries will start on the issue date, 17 July.
