1. the silver-niobium collector coin depicting the castle of Useldange is the ninth coin of the series dedicated to the Castles of Luxembourg. The edition is limited to a maximum of 3 000 units. This coin has been minted in “Proof-like” quality by the Mint of Austria. It has a diameter of 34 mm and a weight of 16,6 g. It is available at the price of 85 €;
2. 
   the 2 euro commemorative coin dedicated to the “50th anniversary of the voluntariness of the Luxembourg army” as coin roll. The coin roll (25 coins) is available at the price of 58 €. The BCL reserves the right to limit to one the number of coin rolls per person.

Ist DAS jetzt ein Scherz?

Dass es eine Sammlermünze zum 40-jährigen Jubiläum des Europäischen Rechnungshofes geben soll, finde ich OK. Dass der Entwurf langweilig ist ("wir patschen mal das Logo des EuRH auf die eine und Henri auf die andere Seite"), geschenkt. Der Nennwert ist zwar ungewöhnlich, spielt aber bei Sammlermünzen eh keine Rolle - die werden ja nicht im alltäglichen Zahlungsverkehr benutzt.

Die 40 Cent entsprechen dem 40. Jahrestag (so etwas hat Luxemburg 2010 schon mal gemacht; damals waren es 700 Cent). Seltsam ist nur die Zahl "1917" auf dem Entwurf. 1977 würde passen ...
