The first issue of a four year program celerating Canadian native cultures and traditions. The $200 gold coin in 1997 was available with or without a case because the mint offered a four-coin case to house the set. (excerpt from the Charlton cataloge)
This was the most popular of the series and is the most sought after. In my opinion it is the finest modern Canadian coin ever made. This coin also won a prestigious award for its design.
