NUMISMATIC PROGRAMME 2005
Dear Customer,
We are pleased to inform you that, besides the ordinary numismatic programme, it has been approved the programme celebrating the “XX Olympic Winter Games– Torino 2006”.
The coins which will be issued represent some of the Olympic sports and the most impressive monuments in Turin:
• 1° Issue: 5 + 10 euro silver proof set: representing the Olympic sports “Figure Skating” and “Alpine Skiing”
• 2° Issue: 5 + 10 euro silver proof set: representing the Olympic sports “Cross-country Skiing” and “Ice Hockey” (issue in June);
• 3° Issue 5 + 10 euro silver proof set: representing the Olympic sports “Ski Jumping” and “Speed Skating” (issue in October);
• 1° Issue: 20 euro gold proof coin: representing “Porte Palatine in
Turin” (issue in March);
• 2° Issue: 20 euro gold proof coin: representing “Palazzo Madama in
Turin” (issue in June);
• 3° Issue: 20 euro gold proof coin : representing the “Hunting Lodge of
Stupinigi” (issue in October);
• 1° Issue: 50 euro gold proof coin: representing the “Equestrian Statue
of Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy” (issue in October);
• 2° Issue: 50 euro gold proof coin: representing the “Olympic Flame”
(issue in January 2006)
The ordinary numismatic programme 2005 consists of the following issues:
• Euro set 2005 + 5 euro silver coin celebrating the “85° Anniversary of
the birth of Federico Fellini” - special uncirculated and proof;
• Euro set 2005 - special uncirculated.
• 20 euro gold proof coin “Europe of Arts” – Finland;
• 50 euro gold proof coin “Europe of Arts” – France;
• 10 euro silver special uncirculated coin celebrating the“60° Anniversary
of the UNO”
• 10 euro silver proof coin “Peace and Freedom in Europe” .
