Randgestaltung St. Gaudens Double Eagle

Hallo zusammen,

ich besitze eine 20 $ St. Gaudens Double Eagle Münze von 1908.
Auf verschiedenen Seiten im Internet habe ich gesehen, dass die Randgestaltung folgendermaßen ist:

beim genaueren betrachten meiner Münze habe ich gesehen, dass die Randgestaltung meiner Münze etwas abweicht :

Ich wäre dankbar, wenn mir jemand sagen kann, was die Ursache dafür sein kann.

vom 1908er Jahrgang gibt es 2 verschiedene Typen, mit oder ohne Motto In God we trust - welche hast Du ?

Bei dem Typ gibt es wohl beide Varianten. Man findet dies auch unter der Bezeichnung small edge letters bzw. large edge letters.

Mich würde jetzt noch interessieren, ob sich die small edge letters und die large edge letters- Variante im Wert unterscheiden. Wäre toll, wenn ihr mir da auch noch weiterhelfen könntet.

Mir ist nicht bekannt daß es da Preisunterschiede gibt.
