Vatican set, some thoughts...

I just run into something interesting.

I have received a Vatican set today and I took it to a friend of my who had received his ordered set yesterday.
There is very noticable difference in the color of the sleeve.
The set I have is much more "dark" blue then his set.

Which give me room for some speculation...
Could it be possible the Vatican has ordered a second mint of this set from the Mint of Italy ???
In other words...
Did they made more set to fullfill the needs of us all.
In fact, the possible extra mint is already by us because of all the extra cheques and KK orders they still have.

And... didn't you notice that a lot of people are receiving their ordered sets since this week ?

interesting theory, but as far as I know, it is not possible for the vatikanum to produce more Coins just because to fulfill all customers requests. To quote Gerhard Schön: (I do this in German now):
Umlaufmünzsätze in Spiegelglanz: max 80000 Stück.
" Das jährliche Nationalkontingent für die Vatikanstadt beträgt 670.000.00 Euro in einem Heiligen Jahr, im Jahr einer Sedisvakanz oder der Eröffnung eines Ökumenischen Konzils zusätzliche 201.000.00 Euro einschliesslich Sondermünzen."

Please don't ask me now what all this means. Maybe we have some katholic forum members which can answer this question. I just quote Mr. Schön.

But I think the coins were produced in different batches like of thousend or tenthousend and there it is of cours possible, that the bleu color may differ.
