Sorry if I write in english, but my german is not so good :(
I think that this coin is from Paderborn, but in "Deutscher Muenzkatalog 18. Jahrhundert" looks like with a different position of the legend, wich stops near the sword and the pastoral staff.
Only a change due to a different Muenzmeister?
Let me know, please... maybe with an excerpt form other books.
Many thanks from Italy!

That's not a 1/12 Thaler from Paderborn but from the bishopric of Münster. The mintmasters mark AGP stands for Anton Gottfried Pott 1714-1723, who worked under the reign of Franz Arnold von Wolf-Metternich 1706-1718.

The problem with this coin is, that my standard catalogue of German coins 1601 to present does not show a 1716 1/12 Thaler with "AGP" but only with "WR" (Wilhelm Ritter 1713-1718). The only year with "AGP" is a 1/12 Thaler from 1723
Best regards

It's Paderborn, since the 2nd quarter is Paderborn and the first Muenster...
Similar coins from Muenster shows the 1st Paderborn, and the 2nd Muenster :)

"Deutscher Muenzkatalog 18. Jahrhundert", Battenberg, shows also AGP for Paderborn :) and also says something about my coin (1/12 thaler, coined in under IW: 1709,1712,1713 and under AGP: 1713,1715-1718).
The problem is that the coin shown is from 1709, with a different look in the legends (mintmaster Johann Willerding). I'm wondering if someone had a picture of the coin by AGP...

Regards,
M.
